If you like banana bread, theres no doubt in my mind you will not hate this Vegan Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Bread.
It’s very moist, chewy and dense! Yet, all ingredients are all natural and wholesome.
Eat Well and Save Money
If you love both chocolate chips and peanut butter, I don’t think there is a better combination then these two together. Make this at home and bring a slice or two with you for breakfast. instead of stopping at a cafe and purchasing your latte and a treat, that may not always be so healthy and tight cause a sugar spike (that is unnecessary), rather bring this bread thats healthy and will not spike your blood sugar. Also you will save tons bringing your own than buying a treat every time. This loaf should cost you less than $10 to make. try to buy the ingredients in Bulk, I enjoy shopping at Bulk Barn (Canada’s Bulk Store) and shop for ingredients ahead of time when they are on sale. If you make this loaf and slice it in at least 10-12 pieces, a slice of loaf should be less than $1. That is way less than your local cafe price.
I love enjoying my slice with a cup of coffee in the morning, especially during the colder months. It brings me warmth and joy.
Peanut Butter Suggestions/Alterations
I know there are many of us that have dietary restrictions. A vegan loaf has never hurt anyone. Although, if you are allergic to peanut butter, don’t worry substitute that peanut butter for any nut or seed butter. My next favourite nut/seed butter is Almond Butter and Sunflower Butter.
P.S. I really hope you have been purchasing peanut butter that is all natural. I know many have grew up eating peanut butter that is really not PB. It’s filled with hydrogen oils, sugars, fake sugars and a fraction of peanuts. That is not real peanut butter. However, I suggest that you give ALL NATURAL PEANUT BUTTER a try and make sure poured those ingredients that say only : DRY ROASTED PEANUTS or PEANUTS. This peanut butter might taste a bite different but is way healthier. I know a friend who has been allergic to Peanut Butter, but she has only tried the Non-Natural Peanut Butter where she tends to have a greater sensitivity than regular natural peanut butter. Make sure you get your doctors approval before testing*. If peanuts are still not for you, please give other nuts a try. These are healthy fats and we all need healthy fats for our body to function correctly.
Please be open minded to what you eat. Especially those ingredients that you put into your beautiful body.
Dairy-Free Chocolate Chips
Yes! Dairy free Chocolate Chips do exist. My favourite Chocolate Chips to use are from Enjoy Life. The ingredients are very wholesome and only contains three ingredients. Just like they should.
You may use regular chocolate chips into this recipe if you eat dairy. Try to opt for healthier options like dark chocolate chips with only a few ingredients.
