I was recently checking out at my local grocery store and couldn’t stop checking out all the Easter goodies! From mini eggs to Reeses butter cups!
I wanted to experiment with a healthy treat and wasn’t 100% sure what I was going to make, until I came across a sponsored post of praline butter cups! This got me thinking what I had in my kitchen to create “chocolate cups”. With my taste buds on fire to recreate something very similar to praline cups but without nut butter, since I was all out! Instead, I took a total different approach to the filling with a “cookie dough paste or marzipan paste” in mind…. AND well it came out DELICIOUS 🙂
Making these Chocolate Cookie Dough-like cups are super easy to make. You only need a few all natural whole ingredients. This recipe is
- grain free

About my filling paste…
I added pure 100% potato starch that I finally found at BULK BARN (local bulk store). I am so happy I have found this ingredient as it is a very beneficial ingredient towards our gut health. It is a prebiotic and a resistance starch that your belly loves! When you incorporate prebiotic-rich foods like resistant starch into your diet, you alter your gut bacteria to promote overall health and even weight loss!
